Arizona Two Step is rhythmic, stylish and includes a ton of fun turns. It is actually a mid-tempo dance, not a fast one which makes it great for all ages and levels of dancers. This dance is also referred to as the “Rhythm” two step and does not travel around the dance floor. It can be done comfortably on any crowded Country dance floor and is great dance for beginners and more advanced dancers.
Lindy Hop is a dance that burst forth in the 1940s and developed out of the Charleston dance of the 1920s. It is the grandmother of all other swing dances including East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Jive, Country Swing, and blues. We teach traditional smooth style Lindy Hop which is grounded with no actual hopping required! Lindy Hop is more challenging for the beginning dancer and takes some commitment to learning the fundamentals and practice to enjoy it on the dance floor. This is why we have wrapped Lindy Hop Fundamentals and Beyond Basics into one 8 week class. We also recommend East Coast Swing as a prerequisite for Lindy Hop to make your learning experience more enjoyable.

American Tribal Style Belly Dance leans more towards old school methods of the dance form. It represents bringing a tribe of people together, becoming connected and getting lost with each other in music and beats. Belly dance explores new and connected ways of body isolated movements, empowering and connecting the dancers with themselves and those around them. It allows us to release our skeletal, muscular, circulatory and nervous systems from the routines and conundrums of everyday life.

Tap is freeing, rhythmic and fun! It may bring to mind the legends of the 1940s and 1950s starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Sammy Davis Junior. It’s a playful and layered form of dance that challenges the dancer to be comfortable with internal rhythm to create sound with movement. Tap teaches us phenomenal life lessons including trusting in ourselves, being patient, and learning how to connect with a group of people through synchronicity generating a surge of energy on the dance floor.
